AC Deger is a Program Assistant – Alternate Format and Student Services with the Centre for Accessibility, and an OER Support Pilot Strategist with the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology. They provide direct support to students who need assistance with the format of course materials, and they also offer consultation and hands-on support to OER Fund projects to ensure resources meet accessibility guidelines. AC has been part of the UDL Planning team since the program’s inception, supporting project teams and facilitating workshops on UDL and accessibility for faculty and staff. They have also helped connect student consultants to project and planning teams to ensure that student voices and feedback are integrated into UDL implementation efforts.
