Dr. Jonathan Graves is a 2024 UDL Fellow who implemented UDL approaches in ECON 326 (Introduction to Econometrics II) in order to remove systemic barriers to learning including those caused by the written material in the course which include complex visualizations, non-English text, math and coding-based typography. Such materials can pose challenges for students with disabilities and for students who have different levels of linguistic, numerical and computational fluency.
